The exterior side decks and top deck are lined with hard wearing non-slip FlexiTeak decking. Guard rails surround the boat with further grab handles strategically placed around the exterior. Bench with small table on the bow of Biggles and on the Fore Peak sits the electric Anchor Windlass. The MAST conveniently collapses forward for low bridges. Collapsible Oyster Caro Satellite dish. On the top of the Wheel House are the 'BLUE FLAG', three SOLAR PANELS, and the RADAR. Steps leading up to the top deck. Second steering position with white seat. The BOW of the boat has two headlights for tunnel navigation. Two CAMERAS. Space for four 13 Kg GAS BOTTLES. WATER PUMP for river and canal water deckwash. A DERRICK lifting system. 55 Kg ANCHOR and 95 metres of 13mm chain. BOW THRUSTER.

BIGGLES ARTICULATED RUDDER - April 2015
The ARTICULATED RUDDER enables excellent directional manoeuvrability of the boat in all conditions. The 26 x 19 inch four blade propeller. BIGGLES was designed to have a shallow keel for additional stability and to minimise any potential rolling in choppy waters. The boat is surrounded by a rubber belting to protect the hull during locking and mooring. The boat has been anti-fouled every year since it was built and last painted in April 2015 before going back into the water.
